I headed to my mother land, korea for a trip. Korea has become this mega shopping destination and compared to be next Tokyo of Asia. I am happy to find out that my friend Sonia, a designer behind the label Bensoni, she started with her college buddy Ben (Ben plus Sonia makes Bensoni) was heading to Korea at the same time I was. We plan on meeting for dinner and I plan on checking out her first retail store.
For those of you are not familiar with Bensoni, the line is consist of super cool dresses, top, and tailored jackets. Olivia Palermo is a huge fan and self appointed ambassador of Bensoni and they have been featured many publications and regulars on a gossip girl since the line is leaking the blare wardorf.
The store is Apgujungdong Korea is her first retail store. Her mother manages this charming store that has modern princess vibe. She also tells me Bensoni is getting korean celeb tractions and whatever gets featured on popular soaps sells out in matter of seconds. Power of korean soap opera.
If you are in Korea, you should stop by, shop, and discover treasures in this bilevel castle for modern princesses. Please notice the white cracked wall and ceilings. It remind me of one of those $100 dollar white t shirts that’s perfectly torn.
