If you come to New York, please take a time to walk the High Line. The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It was a dead space until New York City decided to renovate it as a park. It’s gorgeous and an architectural dream. I first visited when it opened, but now it’s even more developed with fixtures, plants, and restaurants. After dinner at La Promenade des Anglais for my BFF Betty’s birthday, we took a nice walk there. A perfect way to end a great dinner and a perfect way to start the summer.
