NYFW(Fall12) Jill Stuart
I noticed Mario Sorrenti was seated in the front row with his beautiful daughter at Jill Stuart, but nobody was making a big deal, so I shyly moved in and asked for a photo. What a haute daddy. Then I was immediately mobbed and pushed by a paparazzi crew as Olivia Palermo and Niki Reed made their way in. There was another young beautiful girl, and I was wondering who she was. Somebody tipped me off that she is Jill Stuart’s daughter. Another big star who nobody was making a big deal about was Ramses Barden, a wide receiver from the Giants who just won the Super Bowl last week. But to this sports-challenged crowd he is just a obstacle in front of Olivia and Niki.
Jill Stuart Fall12 is gorgeous. I’m in love with the strategically sliced and diced dresses in lace and black and the fur hat with ribbons. The last five looks were stunning. Just when you think beaded dresses have seen their day, Jill Stuart introduces a whole new way to bedazzle. It’s done in black mesh with chunky rhinestone, but since the inside is nude it’s got an “I am naked but sparkling” effect. It’s gorgeous and I can’t wait to get my hands on this number. The Jill Stuart show is one of my favorites of this season so far.
