Thanks for the Royal wedding and now with the weather finally getting warmer, it seems like a good time to get married. Thus, begins the madness of wedding season.

Weddings are a seldom thing now that all my friends have married off and moved on to popping out babies. I think it was 8 years ago when all my friends decided to get married at once. The record was 9 weddings in 1 year. Despite popular belief that nobody cares about anybody else but the bride, I truly believe the guests make the wedding spectacular. Just look at the wedding of Lauren Davis Santo Domingo.

I decided to dig up all the outfits that I wore to weddings. Despite my own memories of me looking fabulous at all the weddings I attended, the visuals said otherwise.

Despite my belief of avoiding the color black at weddings, I realized I wore a lot of black. Thank goodness I didn’t commit the cardinal sin of wearing black at the destination weddings though. I think whole point of getting married in the sun and the beach is that the couple wants a colorful wedding. Plus, you might faint watching the sun set or during the mariachi hour.

I have a wedding to go to in 1 week. And yes, I have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear! I might wear a tight dress to accentuate my new found body after six weeks of no carbs and eating little piece of cheese whenever I feel fainty (I’m Korean, do you know how hard that is?) or add a little bollywood flavor and do the maxi flowey dress thing with body jewels. Still no idea and time is running out.
